Attila Laszlo being a jazz guitarist and composer is one of the finest representatives of the Hungarian jazz life. His compositions take a very fine line in the world of sensitive harmony while bearing unbelievable impulse and energy at the same time. The rhythm section often counter-points the themes and harmony frameworks. Sometimes, under the soft tunes a pulsating accompaniment can be heard. This dualism makes his band so individual.
When they talk about their music, they like to use the phrase “organic jazz”, which tells that their music builds heavily upon the personality of the member musicians. Their style can be defined as modern swing, pulsating 8th-note music and styles of native music at the same time and stands close to contemporary jazz. In the compositions musicians are able to form all these influences into one great unit by creating characteristic and lively music.
The title of the disk ‘Just Trust’ shows that the confidence and having confidence can be such a great mobilizing power. From the mature musical substance of the CD it is well perceptible, that the album was recorded in an extraordinary harmony and inspiring creator atmosphere.
