Audible Audities is a group of four emcees that formed around 1998 in Boulder, Colorado. The group consists of TopiQ(producer/emcee/engineer), Sarasvati(femcee/comedian), Sloppy Joe(emcee/violin/graphic artist),The Rascal(emcee/graphic artist), GaDJet (DJ/producer/engineer),whom which TopiQ met in music school in 2003, and extended AA Family members such as the aggressive Dialect (emcee), hailing from Cincinnati, OH. They are focused on one thing in their music... and that's QUALITY. AA tends to lean towards the light-hearted side of hip hop but still manages to touch on important social and political issues, however, are by no means restricted to one particular style. Taking distinct influence from groups like Jurassic 5 and A Tribe Called Quest, Audible Audities maintains a consistently live feel on studio recordings that are often reminiscent of the Old School era of hip hop, and their amazing chemistry onstage with the addition of LIVE VIOLIN guaruntee a great live show! Having finished and released their debut album, "Last Call Poets" (INSTORES,ONLINE & iTUNES!) , the crew has performed their songs for enthusiastic crowds in support of PUBLIC ENEMY, BLACKALICIOUS, MF DOOM, CUNNINLYNGUISTS, PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS, LUCKYIAM of LIVNG LEGENDS, PEP LOVE of the legendary HEIROGLYPHICS crew, DEFARI, MACKLEMORE, ZION I, 2 MEX & BLACK PEGASUS just to name a few.
