Fantastic collection with sexy vocals
author: Shaun H. and the radioindy.com reviewer team
Imagine if the members of The Cure decided to replace lead singer Robert Smith with a sexy female vocalist. If you can’t, then perhaps listening to “Whitelite Britelite” by Auradrone will help you see the big picture. Hailing from Los Angeles, the band is fronted by the very talented Jon Mack. Her vocals are filled with tasty lyrics and sex appeal to the max. Just give a good listen to songs like “Auto Erotic” and “A Channel,” and listeners will be able to hear her vocals at their best. The band is also very good and is great at changing the style of songs while still keeping that “Auradrone” sound throughout it all. “Indigo Child” is both classic 80’s and super erotic at the same time, so be sure to give that track a few spins. If you love The Cure or the sound they represent, give Auradrone’s “Whitelite Britelite” a good listen.

a very solid debut!

over the last couple years, i've heard bits & pieces of this album on MySpace as it was progressing. i have to say, the final product is an absolute culmination of the tracks i've become familiar with in their earlier forms. the production is first-rate, and the performances are top notch. listening to the album in one sitting, its sequence takes you on a powerful journey: full of high's and low's, power and persuasion, subtlety and in-your-face. Jon Mack is an enigmatic force to be reckoned with -- a true artist, as well as a true beauty. i look forward to Auradrone taking this album on the road in a live setting. i can only imagine how amazing this collection of songs would sound live. if electronic rock is your drug of choice, then Auradrone is your fix.
