Auralis has taken some of his favourite classical and romantic music by Chopin, Debussy, Liszt, MacDowell and Mozart, and has arranged it for orchestra. He has also added in some of his own music to provide us with a dreamy beutiful sound experience. We hear great music orchestrated by a brilliant arranger and composer. We are able to hear these piano pieces as they have never been heard before, arranged in an easy listening, mood music soundscape by a master orchestrator. Auralis studied classical composition at Salford University in England and we can hear his deep depth of harmony and counterpoint music knowledge in these arrangements and compositions.
In this album, Auralis salutes the great masters and celebrates Mozart's tri-centenial birthday. Auralis told me that he respected Mozart's music so much, that he could not alter one note, and the only thing he could do was to add a flute to enhance the first violin part, because the music was a perfectly balanced work, written by a genius. This attitude shows us that Auralis is himself a great musician and studied composer who respects the great masters as can be heard on this great album. Notes by arranger John Wilson.
Other works by Auralis are:
'Sound Traveller' vols. 1 & 2 a two World Music album set,
'Destiny', a Trad. Scottish music album arranged for orch.
'The Mood I'm In' piano mood music album.

Auralis - greats ears for sound
author: Peter Wright (Arranger)
I am a friend of Auralis and have reviewed his music albums in the past. I have always given Aurlis a good review, and don't want ot repeat myself without appearing patronising, but what can you say about this brilliant arranger? except that this album is one of his finest and best. Auralis is happy writing in any genre that takes his fancy, and he has proved himself here, in this finely crafted album of Easy Listening Classical music. What can I say, but well done and well written.

Aural dimensions of great orchestrtions
author: Joan Maurice (French pianist)
I first came across Auralis while studying music in Paris. I loved his 'Destiny' and 'Sound Traveller' albums and wished that I could write as well. In this album he takes quite difficult virtuoso piano music and scores it effortlessly for paino so that we are able to imagine what these classic pieces would have sounded like, if the composers had originally written them for orchestra. There are very few arrangers around today who can do this and Auralis is one of them, but he is not content with this - he also adds in his own music to make a compelling, brilliant aural sound dimension.

Amzing album of great orchestrations
author: John P. Williams
Auralis's new album of easy listening classical music was a revelation to me when I first heard it. He takes the piano music of Liszt, Chopin, Debussy and Mozart and brilliantly arranges these beautiful pieces for orchestra in a way that lets you hear this music in a new way. Not olny does he arrange these difficult piano pieces, but he adds in new music written by himself to create a compact album of great music. Auralis is a brilliantly gifted musician and orchestrator.
