"Fans who are into Morbid Angel, Death, and numerous others along this line, would highly enjoy Auroch’s performance tonight... [a] powerful amount of energy, causing fans to constantly mosh and head bang with metal pumping through their veins." -Rockstar Weekly Magazine
A monstrous abomination fusing the brutality of technical death metal, the atmospheric qualities of black metal and the hyperspeed of thrash metal, a unique attack is created, completely unheard of before.
An incredible range of vocals is unleashed from vocalist Kuillen Sander's throat, as high falsettos soar over brutally gutteral growls, and cacodaemonical shrieks shatter the sanctity and the beauty of classic clean singing.
Guitarists Sebastian Montesi and Paul Ouzounov summon forth a huge variety of lead techniques, using melody and epic harmonies at times, and at times abbandoning that for a completely dischordant approach so decadently dissonant, the listener is left shocked by the tonally offensive qualities. Subtly technical riffs slither along all the way.
Having released a full length album to much acclaim and already toured all over the entirety of Canada, they remain darkly determined. After opening for thrash-metal legends EXODUS, and international touring acts such as THE AGONIST, BONDED BY BLOOD, HOLY GRAIL, WOODS OF YPRES, INQUISITION and MYTHOSIS, one finds in AUROCH a band that is ready to take it to the next level. Auroch shall prepare the way for the coming of the most Ancient One...
For fans of Death, Morbid Angel, Sarcofago, King Diamond... ...The Old Ones Are... Were... and Shall Be Again...
