ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
CLASSIC ROCK !!!…Is the best way to describe this awesome sounding Austin-Schell CD. If you like loud killer guitars, powerful drums, soaring vocals and great songs that remind you of the ‘70’s…THIS IS IT !!!
It’s no wonder that Austin and Schell we’re both raised in the same town that spawned Ronnie James Dio as well as members of Black Sabbath, Rainbow and Elf. The influence is apparent here.
Foreigner, Bad Company, Styx, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Thin Lizzy, Bon Jovi and even Lynyrd Skynyrd all share common ground with the style and vibe in these songs. Vocals like Lou Gramm(Foreigner) or Paul Rodgers(Bad Co.) with lead guitar reminiscent of Joe Perry or Richie Sambora. The only thing missing is the basement from “That ‘70’s Show” and all that went with it.
Rockers to power ballads...Danny Austin(guitar) and Rick Schell(vocals and drums) have made an album that’s feels like a flashback. So do what it takes to get you in that mind frame, sit back and enjoy the ride……
Rick is currently a drummer and singer with Pure Prairie League. He is formerly a founding member of BMG recording artists Pinmonkey and has recorded and/or toured with such luminary acts as Steve Earle, Southside Johnny, Allison Moorer and lives in Nashville, Tn. His debut solo album "Salt Of The Earth" is also available at www.cdbaby.com. Danny is a former member of Mad Jack and Black and Blue. He currently performs with The Cafferty Band as well as others and resides in Corltland, NY.
See ya !

Saw you playing last nite with Gregg...saw alot of old friends! Bought the CD and have listened non-stop since! Love it! Favorite has to be "Made It Out Alive" with all of the Cortland references! Hope there will be more live local performances not to mention more music by the two of you!

The Austin-Schell CD will remind you what real Rock & Roll is all about. It reminds me of all my favorite groups & then goes beyond them. Not to mention Rick & Dan give you a great stage show too. Buy the CD & keep your ears open for a live performance. You won\'t be disappointed.
