AvA's music is a stylistic blend of Pop, Soul, Jazz , and R&B. which join together to form her unique sound. Her first musical release, SUPERGIRL, was a notable success in her home town. She has been called, "Providence's strongest R&B Soul singer . . ." by The Providence Journal. The Providence Phoenix said, "AVA sparkles on her debut CD. . .Musically, she's miles ahead of the pack. . . Super Girl smokes with a Lolita-like sexiness."

She was nominated for "Best Break-Through Artist" and "Best Female Vocalist" in the Providence Phoenix's 2001 and 2002 Best Music Polls, and in early 2003 she was a winner in the R&B category of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for her song "Breezy".

AVA is a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, and is now living in NYC. She is involved in all aspects of her music and production, and utilizes her extensive performing experience in her live shows.

AvA is currently starring as “Maureen” in the broadway show “RENT”. You can see her perform 8 times a week at The Nederlander Theater in New York City.

    The CD is amazing along with Ava. I know her personally and I swear she is the most amazing person ever. She puts everything into her music and you can really tell on the CD here. And if you all get a chance to see her in RENT you can too. I've seen her a lot. Hah. KEEP IT GOIN AV!

    I thought that this CD was very good. I sort of stumbled onto this site by chance and listened to her tracks before I purchased the CD. As the song says, she's got the "it". A great voice, great songwriting skill, great potential. She's not quite as developed as most of the mainstream artists but I could definitely see her up there with Kelly Clarkson or Christina Aguilera someday.

    I saw Ava on Broadway as "Maureen" in the musical, RENT. I thought she did an amazing job so I bought her CD. All I can say is WOW!!!! This CD is amazing and I can't wait for more of her CDs to be released!

    I saw Ava in Rent and fell in love with her voice. I got her CD from my mom as an early birthday gift after begging for it for a few weeks...and I'm so glad I did!! The lyrics and beat of her songs are incredibly catchy, and I can't stop listening to it.

    I first saw Ava in Rent and fell in love with her voice. I read in her bio she had a site so I went to it and followed the link to buy her CD - and I am glad I did. It's hard to compare her style to anyone but if I had to choose I'd say she's a little like Destiny's Child - but more on the unique side. Her voice is fresh and she's got great control of it. As her song "The It" says, "I know I got the it, and I don't doubt myself a bit, think I'm sleepin, girls beware you're gonna see this face everywhere" - she's right. You are gonna see her face everywhere in the future. Great style, great sound, great voice. A+.

    Saw Ava in rent when it came to Lubbock. WOW!! She's amazingly hot and has an outstanding voice - I had to have her CD. Got the CD and its awsome! I have listened to it over and over and have even got my mother, roommate and a couple other friends listening to it all the time.

    a very hott cd!! the songwriting is great as well as the arrangement and all the lyrics are very potent! the beats are really dope and the productions is next level!! i hope to see ava all over the place in the next year cause god know shes much better then half the acts out there!! job well done! you are so hott ava!!

    I love the rythym of the music and how it makes you want to get up and dance. I really like how each song's lyrics talk about something different and how each song sounds as if its talking about something real. Its the type of music that makes you want to listen to it over and over again!
