Australian musicians Walter Klifton & Patrice O’Shea refer to themselves as ‘conscientious observers’ whose music is a commentary on the political, environmental, physical, and mental state of the world in which they live. Their music can be described as ‘tales of therapy in a world of gutters and alleyways’. They release their music under the working title of ‘Avenge Aviator’.
Their first offering ‘Avenge Aviator’ (Self titled) is a 5 track EP which was recorded sporadically from November 2007 to September of 2008 at Alchemix Recording Studios in Brisbane, Australia.
Their style can be summed up by the influence of the following bands and individuals who inspire them to make music:-
Bret Easton Ellis, Charles Bukowski, David Bowie, Death From Above 1979, Faith No More, George Orwell , Hunter S. Thompson, Martin Scorsese, Mike Patton, Mr Bungle, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, Primus, Queens Of The Stone Age, Queen, Radiohead, Rage Against The Machine, System Of A Down, Franz Kafka, The Coen Brothers and Tom Waits.
Avenge Aviator would like to thank all who take the time to listen to this EP and for continuing to support independent music!
