Producer Chris Orazi’s Avenue C presents the new CD entitled Dream Taxi. The songs and instrumental passages are cinematic in scale. Evolving orchestrations combine pop, experimental harmonic movement, live jazz, orchestral arranging, passionate vocals and electronic colors. The ride will journey you through mysterious beats bedded in ambient guitars; jazz vocalizing dancing to world rhythms; a power horn section over driving guitars, all wrapped in symphonic soundscapes. Dream Taxi is a journey, a listening experience analogous to visiting a magic carnival or watching a surreal dream. The productions take the listener to a place beyond predictable barriers often surrounding us. Avenue C’s Dream Taxi is the vehicle to take you there again and again.

Well worth the wait

There are only a handful of albums in my personal collection that I can honestly say that I enjoy each and every song - Dream Taxi is now on that list.
Chris Orazi is a proven musical perfectionist and this album more than substantiates that claim. From the subtle message(s) in the dynamic cover art design, to the choice of song sequence, Avenue C delivers a compilation of thought provoking stories, feelings and fantasies finally realized through years of experience and hard work; determination, perseverance with tireless efforts – with the perfect mix of talented artists.
My initial exposure to A World Too Far and Light Positive, I couldn't help but notice some distinct similarities to the styles of Alan Parsons, Sting, and Tears for Fears. And the instrumental tunes will leave you mesmerized, mouth agape as you encounter the conscious effect of dreaming.
The Dream Taxi experience is just that; like someone born blind, finally grasping the concept of color through the wonder and fantasy of dreaming.

Strange how we open our minds as soon as our eyes close. Indeed.
