The "Average Church Band" is just what the name proclaims. We are ordinary musicians from average walks of life that have ended up together to do an extraordinary thing, bring God's message to others through our music. Most of the band members came from a rock and roll background and have spent years playing in bars and other venues. Little did we know it was just a preparation for this, the most important gig of our lives. This CD is a compilation of original tunes and three covers. We hope you enjoy the music and message this collection contains.

one of the best up-and-coming christian bands i've heard

Most of these psalms you may have heard.But this CD shines a whole new light on these psalms. There are tropical themes, to slow, to upbeat themes. This CD covers them all, including others. The 12th song on the album, im almost certain you havent heard of it, but it turns out to be a very deep and enlightening song. I would have to pick it as my favorite song on the album. I would definately recommend this to anyone as a gift or just as a new tool for a youth band. If you fell your church needs an upbeat to its music I would go to this CD as a first. It starts you off with the psalms, then you can always go to other CD's.
