AVERY SOMMERS is one of the best singer performers i have ever had the pleasure of knowing about,her voice is so lush,its like black coffee and dark chocolate after the best dinner cooked by the worlds greatest chef!these comments may sound gushing,i hope so! and genuinely so,she creates wonderful images in your head of elegant jazz supper club evenings where mabel mercer,bobby short,lena horne,sarah vaughn,eartha kitt and and all the other unique and individual special performers, would give us their special brand of story telling and vocal abillity far superior to the likes of simon cowells xfactor conveyer belt lot everyone identikit,and ultimately generic,sanitised and boreing after 5 minuates,i sincerely feel Avery Sommers is in a vocal class of her very own,and up there with the greats,im delighted that i now own this wonderful album in my collection and on the ipod,i only play true stars on it anyway.
