This ground-breaking, inspirational work not only put Aviad Cohen’s music on the map, it also got people out of their seats, rejoicing in Yeshua Messiah. Songs like, We Delight In Your Shabbat, Hooked On The Truth and Praise Yah! are still big hits with young and old listeners. In Aviad’s first musical statement as a believer in Yeshua, he proved that his 50 Shekel days were far behind him. The title cut, Hooked on the Truth, boldly tells of Aviad’s walk from darkness into the light of God’s word. “It’s a testimony. The whole goal was to encourage people to open up the Bible and embrace God and His promises and that includes Yeshua as their Messiah.” The album has various Scripture readings throughout, set to classical music and sound design. His intent was as personal as it was provocative: “I just got saved, I had to sing about the truth and proclaim Yeshua as Lord and Savior. This is music is for the saved and the lost, both Jew and Gentile. People have written in that God used this album to bring them closer to Him and inspired them to read the Word and they received Yeshua as Messiah.”
