"Universal....infectious"
The Boston Globe

"the voices of Aye are remarkable,
and capable of melodic mesmerism...
voices that alone distinguish them in
the crowded singer-songwriter field."
Seven Days Newspaper

"...the tunes these two fine women weave
are beautiful and soulful enough to inspire
even the most cynical bastard to dance."
Northeast Performer Magazine

AYE's music is an eclectic mix of original songs, with soul, rock, folk and world influences. Adrienne and Marsia Shuron Harris, joined forces after co-writing their first song “Aye” pronounced (i-yay). Originally solo artists living in the Boston area, the two ventured south to Key West, where the duo began performing as Aye. Their journey together produced one EP and their first and only CD to date, which was listed in the top ten "Best of 2001" by The Recorder.

After performing in the Florida Keys where Aye fine tuned their act and were interviewed and reviewed by almost every paper in the area as well as on television and radio; the girls met up with engineer and Producer David Tortolano. The trio headed back to Boston where they recorded Aye's debut CD, were chosen out of 250 entries to audition for Sarah McGlaughlin’s Lilith Fair, shared the stage with major recording artists such as Me’shell Ndegeocello, and performed at festivals, coffeehouses and venues such as Boston's Club Passim and New York's Bitter End.

The music of Aye moves through a tapestry of soulful melodies, world/rock rhythms and engaging lyrics. Their unusually satisfying harmonies, outstanding songs and great vibe, take their listeners on an incredible journey through groove and emotion. "

Wonderfully moving melodies
author: Ron Good (Aaron)
This cd beautifully combines Aye's powerfull yet soft, almost vulnerable, expressions with thier truly engaging melodies. Wonderfull. Lovely. I've known Aye's music since before they had a cd, Playing small clubs in the Florida keys. Thier depth and beauty is evoked in these songs and it comes across powerfully and undiluted. This is a must have and well played cd for my collection.

I have 1000s of cds/cassettes, albums and this is one of my all-time favorites. The voices of these women are beautiful, the songs are deeply melodic, the expression is soulful, and lyrics are real to their lives. What more could you ask for in a cd?
