Composer, arranger, lyricist, poet, author, pianist, singer and music educator. She has a master of music degree education degree as well as a bachelor degree in theory from The Manhattan School of music. She is the Former mentor and High school music teacher of Alicia Keys. In 1997 Aziza was the recipient of the Presidential Scholar Distinguished Teacher award from President Bill Clinton's administration in Washington, DC.
