Excellent production by Scott MacPherson (Steve Perry, Drivin'n'Cryin, Johnny Winters, Muddy Waters and many more). For a long time the people of the world have awaited the arrival of a music-style respectful of their intellect and individuality. The wait is now over. Just enter New York based AZTEC JADE.
Uninhibited by the normal trends prevalent in music today, AZTEC JADE has developed since 1992 a unique chemistry of off time progressive rock rhythms, hooky choruses and thought provoking lyrics. All members are self-taught and influenced by various artists such as Styx, Kansas and Queensryche vocal wise, while recalling the progressive instrumentation from The Beatles to Rush and Dream Theater.
After countless of fantastic reviews from worldwide press for their latest release "Paradise Lost" (containing the combined works of their debut MCD and their highly successful follow-up "Frame Of Mind" + one unreleased bonus track) and for their versions on Adrenaline Record's Tribute albums "Voices - A Tribute To Dream Theater" and "The Attack Of The Dragons - A Tribute To Queen," the band is now ready to deliver their fourth Cd "Concrete Eden." Aztec Jade's new musical direction is more bombastic, symphonic and melodic than ever, courtesy of top-notch singer Leon Ozug, but still keeping the complex and progressive sound that made Aztec Jade one of the new driving forces in the next era of Rock!
