azure rising can be found in various coffee shops in Southern California. Some enthusiastic audience members
have used the terms "groovy rhythm(s)" and "hauntingly beautiful."

A.C. first produced his solo, instrumental album "Drifters" and then teamed with Jenn, a vocalist, to create azure rising.

They experimented with various musical styles, but found it difficult to decide on one particular style. As a result, the music you will hear on this album is an integration of various styles. On azure rising's debut album, Lessons, you will get a taste of this variety of styles--in other words, you'll never get bored.

While categorized as down tempo/chill, azure rising concentrates on creating a thematic quality for each of the songs. This provides a richness and wholeness which are not heard in more commercial songs.

Music is a true expression which can be filled with the questions life gives us everyday. These songs explore these questions of love, wonder and conviction. Without any hesitation we present our music filled with personal expression.
