The idea for Tunnel Of Sharks came from my daughter Sophie when she was only three years old. We were in France for the summer and I saw an ad for the 'Tunnel des Requins' (tunnel of sharks) near the town of Amboise. This town is like a hunnert miles from the ocean but we went there anyway. Way out in a field was an ugly metal building with a buncha fishtanks and the aforementioned 'tunnel' which was only about 40 feet long and bent so you couldn't see into the gift shop until it was too late. The SHARKS... looked big-ish through the curved glass but from the flat window in the gift shop it was clear that they weren't very big. Sophie dreamed up the first line of the song and then nine years later I finished it. This CD also has a good tune about getting along with your wife called 'Treat Her Good' and one about guys who don't called 'One Mon Taliban'. There are also a load of tasty interpretations of old standards. So what are you waiting for? Dive in... to the Tunnel Of Sharks.
