Babyfat's No Charge For Cheese is a Collection of 12 Years of Babyfat Music. Compiled from 5 Babyfat Releases, this Album is a "Best Of". 22 Tracks, 78 Minutes Long, All Tracks Re-Mastered, this is a Party & what Babyfat is all about.

Babyfat played the DC/NoVa Music Scene & toured the country from 1992-2002. Babyfat was Sponsored by Jagermeister, Fender Guitars, & the PIT Surf Shop. The band won Sam Goody's "Best Unsigned Band" Competition in 1998, & in 2002 Babyfat played the House of Blues in Las Vegas. The band used to play the infamous BAYOU in DC, & got to tour & play with GREAT AREA BANDS such as: Egypt, Everything, All Mighty Senators, Fighting Gravity, & 2 Skinnee J's.

Babyfat Music is Rock with a Funky Edge. The band is currently not touring, but gets together every year to play the Wilderness Jam, a 3 day camp-out/party in Gore VA. www.wildernessjam.com

No matter how many hipsters try to dominate the airwaves with skinny ties & suits, there will always be a place in the music world for dirty, drunken party rock. Northern Virginia natives BABYFAT are a testament to that simple fact. With songs compiled from the band's fifteen year history, "NO CHARGE FOR CHEESE" is the definition of party music: funky, light-hearted, a little excessive, but beyond anything else, fun. It's no surprise that the band once shared stages with Blink 182 & the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, as these songs dovetail nicely with those bands carefree attitudes. Highlighted by outstanding guitar & bass work, & some innovative instrumentation choices ("The Power of Song"), this collection of funky rock-pop is a must for fans of Fishbone, Sublime, or 311.
