Overlooked

Babylon A.D. is a great hard rock band with a bluesy, soulful singer. These guys should have been huge!! Sometimes live CDs leave a lot to be desired but this disc destroys that theory. There is plenty of energy and the band sounds tight and seasoned to perfection. The covers of Girls Got Rhythm and Rats In The Cellar are absolutely on fire. Buy the CD and rock out!!

Better than the kiss Alive series

This band is great! and could have definately been bigger than Poison,Motley Crue,GnR if they would have been giving the exposure that they deserved. This live album is great and you'll be playing it over and over again i promise you. Derek Davis is a genius that's all i gotta say. Also pick up "Nothing Sacred","In the beginning...",Babylon A.D.","American Blitzkrieg",and of course this CD because i gaurantee you you won't find 1 bad song on either album.

Babylon A.D. Live a definite must for any fan of 80's hard rock!
author: Tyson Briden
From the first moment I saw the video for "Hammer Swings Down" way back in 1989 I thought this band was destined to be huge. Great hooks, great lyrics, just overall great band. Unfortunetly, 1991 came and with it so did Nirvana and people decided they didn't like slick, produced music anymore and traded in spandex for flannel. So Babylon A.D. never acheived the success they deserved. These live recordings show what a great band Babylon A.D. were. Derek sounds exactly live, like he does on record. The band itself shows how tight they were. It is obvious that they believed there live show was what would make or break them. Obviously old Clive Davis felt the same way about there live performances because apparently that's how they got signed to Arista Records. Classic B.A.D. songs such as "Bang Go The Bells", "Bad Blood" and "Kid Goes Wild" rock out like they did on the origianl recordings. I think one of the highlights of the disc though is "Desperate", always a favorite of mine, but the emotion that Derek shows on this song is unbelievable! This disc also boasts a great cover of Aerosmith's "Rats In The Cellar". Derek does a great Steven Tyler! So if you're looking for great tonge-in-cheek lyrics, with great guitar riffs, pounding in-yer-face drums and driving bass all in one, Babylon A.D. - Live In Your Face is what you need! You will not be disappointed!

Just As Amazing Playing Live
author: CJ Kupcho
The boys from B.A.D. sound just as awesome live as they do in the studio. Derek definitely gives his all at the concerts and gets that crowd working! If you're not part of this loop, you definitely need to get out and pick up one of their CDs! It won't let you down!
