Hailing straight out of Queens, NY, the producer/emcee duo Bacardee -N- Spunc are known for their combination of slick lyrics and unique street beats. The members, Don Spunc and Bacardee, were childhood friends who started out in the streets of Queens as youngsters battling other crews and making beats in Bacardee's crib. Don Spunc was introduced to the studio at the age of 15 by Al Prentice, a former member of the group 5th Platoon. Bacardee made a name for himself as a DJ, and then stepped up his game to become an independent producer. Bacardee's tracks have been ranked in high regards to some of the greatest producers of our time such as Just Blaze, Havoc and Premier.

They originally joined forces in the early 90s, but Don Spunc took a break for personal issues. Bacardee continued his career, producing tracks for artists such as Capone & Noreaga, Tragedy a.k.a. Khadafi, Nature, formerly of The Firm, and Prodigy of Mobb Deep. Now they have reunited to bring you what Don Spunc describes as straight off the street, no gimmicks, just real hip hop. They are currently featured on some of the hottest NY mixtapes.
