Bachlubaki & The Oueb is a belgian musical band created in 2007, in Brussels. After leaving his indie label, Bachlubaki decided to release his songs with his own means. He got in touch on the Web with some artists coming from differents cities like Brussels, Liege, Namur...

He met Sam Mourlon (the guitarist), Sibel (the only woman of the band, specialised on oriental traditional music), Pierre Clerckx (percussions), Vince (R&B and Hip-Hop singer), Christophe Di Stefano (Bass) and Hervé Collet (Drum). In august 2007, they've recorded in a little town in Belgian (Wierde), in Namur, their first single titled " DUNYA ". They made also an instrumental version for promoting the song.

DUNYA is a pamphlet, a song talking about imigration, a real subject which didn't find solution yet in Belgium. The 3/4 of the song has been written by Bachlubaki and another part by Vince (the R&B part). DUNYA is a cry of a man which left his country for going in Europe, thinking that he gonna get a better life. But, when he reached the european continent, he has been shocked by some attitudes : racism, employless, selfishness, and more.

Bachlubaki & The Oueb is an example of social and cultural diversity, a real melting pot, because the artists has differents roots (DR.Congo, Turkey, Italy, Belgian, etc.). Also, DUNYA is a wonderful mix of cultural sounds and folks.
