Back Alley Blues Band (southern) is a Florida-based band that doesn't sound like your father's blues band... Crossing the "lines" and not being stuck in "the same old shuffles" this band can move the blues on people in more ways than one!

Mixing in the diverse influences and experiences all the members bring to the table, Back Alley Blues Band has a style it can call its own. Funky, rockin' blues are the sounds you will find here, mixed with a dash of Rockabilly and Americana stylings to boot. Not that the band couldn't play a traditional blues style, but why sound like everybody else?

There is a wide range of styles on display here, from the '60s Texas-style opener of "My Baby Caught The Train", the swamp-style ballad "Even Angels Get The Blues", the Bo Diddley inspired "Queen Of Hearts", the rockabilly rave-up "Oh Well", to acoustic flavored tunes like "Chihuahua Blues" and the traditional "Mississippi Blues".

This band is no fly-by-night operation, or a band of assembled studio musicians-Back Alley Blues Band has been around Tampa Bay, Florida going on 10 years now, playing every chance that comes our way, each time letting the soul of the music out of our hearts and into the ears of our listeners.
