Music with meaning and passion, that is what drives the band members in Backup Johnny. They want to create not just music, but a story for fans to listen to. With their first show ever in November of \'07, they have gained a great fan base, both locally and out-of-town. They released their first album titled \"Heartaches & Hangovers\", this album first introduces the character called Johnny Ray and takes you through a 10-track journey of his live, love, and loss. The band has experienced great feedback from their fans about the album, leaving them wanting more!

Backup Johnny went on their first tour in the summer of \'08, traveling up and down california, hitting major cities and spreading their music to new ears. They have also appeared in VERBICIDE MAGAZINE\'s UNSIGNED Issue Number 23 that came out in Spring of \'08, and earned a well deserved spot on the \"Top Four BEST UNSIGNED POP BANDS\".

I love this album, since I bought it\'s pretty much the only thing I listen to in my car. My kids even love it...I mean my two year old sings along and my 10 month dances constantly when it\'s playing. Thank you guys 100 more times, I can\'t wait to hear your new material.
