*** Bad Influence - Nominated for 3 Washington Area Music Association awards for 2003! ***

Bad Influence has been rocking houses in the Maryland/Virginia/DC area since its humble beginnings back in 1988.

We play a mixture of Swing and Chicago style music, sure to give everyone in the room a true taste of the blues.

Bad Influence features Bob Mallardi on bass and vocals, Roger Edsall on harp and vocals, D'Addario and Vintique endorsed artist, Michael "Jr" Tash on guitar and vocals, Jay Corder on Sax, and David "Buck" Thaler on the drums.

This CD, our 1st Badblues release, is 13 of our favorite songs.

There are songs by BB King, Robert Cray, The T-Birds, and a few other greats.

Joining the band for this record is Ed Lehner on guitar, Fred Hillyard on bass and a rare appearance by Tom Swanton.

The Washington Post says "BAD INFLUENCE'S "Where We Been" lays bare the band's influences, and as such the album is akin to a 13-tune program in how to acquire a taste for the blues."

These guys are HOT!!!!!!!
author: Joe Weidner/"technojoe"
Dang! This is the BEST BLUES I've heard in years!!!!!!!!!!!! The voices are exceptional, and you can even understand the lyrics! The music is clear, clean, and close to perfection! I love the "bass groove" [seeing as how that is "my" main instrument also!] The Harmonica player is one of the best I've heard. The Lead/rhythm guitar KNOW what they are doing! EVERYONE in this band "KNOWS" what they are doing, and knows how to do it as a TEAM! The lyrics actually "tell a story"! And the one thing that really gets me......I only heard "four" of the songs from this CD, but all four were BLUES, but all four sounded "DIFFERENT"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [Unfortunately]..around here.......If you've heard ONE blues tune, you've heard 'em ALL!!! [ha] These guys are going places! And I want a Front Row Seat!

Great inventive band!

AH, what a refreshing CD! These folks are inventive, creative musicians, with a great sense of humour and irony about their work. In a world awash with so much musical pablum, it's good to hear the real thing!
