Album Notes

L.A. Says She Loves Me is the follow up LP to BLJ’s 2007 debut release BAD LOVE JUNKIE. L.A. Says… is storytelling tour de force from one of today’s more prolific singer/song writers. Each song shines on it own and yet still manages to fill and complement the other tracks and add to the overall feel and enjoyment of the entire CD. BLJ’s vocal style pulls you in like few other singers today can.

This one is sure to be a CLASSIC!

Never mind the cover, it\'s the music that counts.

Simplicity wins thru again.....what a great emotional track Eric. An acoustic guitar eh.....who needs anythin else, except the words. Brilliant track man. Rated. Well done

acoustimick - 28 January 2008

Stone the crows, Eric, that\'s an awesome track. Many congrats on the well-deserved number one. Made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck.

Been awhile since I checked you out man. Glad I did because you aint disappointed me. Love those lyrics dude. The guitar work is pretty smooth and am pretty impressed with your arrangements. Another cracker. Just wish you didn’t have to keep removing tracks as I have lost some of your earlier works and they were all good too man!

Black Wookie - 26 January 2008
being able to write what you feel says it all about being a songwriter... Excellent track, full of feeling!! enjoyed

phil - 25 January 2008

This song has great depth and pace. I enjoyed listening to it. It\'s a personal song but is worthy of a large audience.

PaulBoonStewart - 25 January 2008

Hi BLJ, You are a true songwriter, and your material displays that. This is a very emotive song, vox and production very well done. & r8d from me. Sonya Stewart.

sony67 - 25 January 2008

You\'ve really put your heart into this, and it shows. Although there are occasions where your voice falls out of tune, the performance itself is so powerful such considerations hardly matter. The use of twin guitars and the harmony vocals are welcome additions. I\'m only sorry I\'ve run out of nominations for this week, you\'ll have to do with a rate and recommendation instead!

peterquinn - 25 January 2008

Beautiful song, Sir. Guitars sound fantastic. Could certainly use more in the way of harmonies and perhaps some orchestrated backing. The vocal melody is magnificent. Definitely one of my favorite tracks on here. Have a rate and a nom.

Truj - 25 January 2008

What a fantastic song/writer!

scott slater - 05 January 2008

i haven\'t heard much country music i know its massive in America so if your voice is anything to go by then i have to listen to more....i am sure there is a hit in this...rate ...stevy...BONE DEGREE...

stevy y - 17 December 2007

oh wow, first thing that catches me is the vocals. im digging big time brotha! as far as i can tell the \"playing mistakes\" dont shoot out at me. but those vocals are just great. seriously awesome! i like when you hit the high not on the word easy. like cold play almost. just good man.

Redshirt Theory - 14 December 2007

I confess I am just a fan of everything you do...love the voice, love the song structure, the lyric and the overall song TO BITZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!

I feel this could easily be a mainstream hit in the country genre so I\'m giving it a nom..so there!

dawnsinclair - 14 December 2007 hey i really like your tune really smooth listening and catchy and thanks for the tips definatly appreciated.

scubasteve1200 - 14 December 2007

Eric this is absolutely wonderful. Great lyrics and your voice is stunning as always. This has a touch of early-ish Springsteen to my ear. Love it. Rated.

Pidgeman - 14 December 2007

Too sloppy? Don\'t think so - it hits a chord with me lyrically dude. To me it\'s a song about contrasts in life and the easy-contentedness of men. It makes sense to me anyway so take a rate.

James Oakwood - 14 December 2007

Eric , Yeah Man you can put this one on Your new Cd for sure. Love it I am hooked. I just love the way you do every song \"Heart and Soul\"
