The Nobody Curse takes the listener on a intense and emotional journey.
Bad Love Junkie once again offers us his view from the mountain top, but also guides us through the dark and lonely valley of his soul. Raw. Uninhibited, Real.
Rock track “Fade to Black” kicks the whole thing off ending with the heart wrenching “Headshrinker.” “Midnight in Paris” and “Beautiful Stranger” reveal the softer side of a very complex man . The autobiographical “Walk on Water” has been call “brilliant” and a “masterpiece”!
Music as it could and should be!
Your on top of your game Eric,
Another I love
riddle - 11 February 2009
I love the vocal melody. Reminds me a little of Nebraska-era Springsteen. Great song, take a rate!
HoneyThick - 02 March 2009
Just another BLJ special! ABP Eric. I feel like one of the luckiest people around to be able to get to "rub shoulders" with the first class musicians on this site.

Mouth-watering guitar tones. You're so perfectly in tune, I'm jealous. A great vocal tone and delivery. Rate
TonyMillerLive - 27 February 2009
I like that calming guitar melody you have going on here. I like the voice too! Very smooth and full of determination. I like this a lot. Very relaxing. Man! You can really push the air out of those lungs! Sweet voice, man.
The backing guitar sounds great with the main guitar strumming along. This is something that I can sit on the porch and listen to. I love it when you blow your voice out. It sounds great.
I like the overall relaxing feel to this song. Great atmosphere to it. The ending is even done very well.
All in all it's a "simple, sit, lay back, relax and sip your juice" kind of song. Production is very quality. Really clear and vibrant. Could be a little louder but no problem. I just turn it up! Duh! lol
The arrangement is very plain but it works really well. You don't need a lot of changes and details in this song. It's fine the way it is and the fact that it doesn't have all that technical stuff in it is what makes it such a great, relaxing song. Not to mention the voice and vocal work. Nice job! I'm rating this for sure. Have a great day!
Andy Stokes - 26 February 2009
another top job here, real conviction in the lyrics and vocal performance and a very crisp production.
NaughtyStep - 26 February 2009
Brilliant. Again. Production and performance both first rate. From the way things are shaping up the new able is going to be fantastic Eric. Glad you caught the writing bug again. Rated.

DaveRave - 13 February 2009
Agreed! Defo one of your best Eric! Nice vocal track. Unplugged raw acoustic ballad! Some reason I get a Bernie Taupin vibe from the lyrics. Very nice finger picking as well. Enjoyed this one!
Richard Ramsey - iODiNE - 12 February 2009

Beluga - 12 February 2009
mmmm....this is yummy. This is the stuff girl's crushes are made of! Sweetly delivered gorgeous vocals. I agree about being able to see all of this in one's mind's eye. The simplicity of the arrangement is well suited to the love of simplicity in life. Guitar skillfully played and very tender. Warm fuzzies all over...
Sugarbee - 11 February 2009
That's beautiful Eric! I could "see" it in my mind's eye; the cop, the gas station, the coffee, even the Boone's Farm! Young lovers in the heartland, John Melloncougarcamp comes to mind, this is easily as good as anything he's done along these lines. Nice to see a lighter side of the bad love junkie!
David Joel Carter - 11 February 2009
Wonderful stuff Eric. The guitar has a lovely lilt to it and the lyrics and sentiment are spot on. Well conceived and presented. I really rate your stuff and this is one of the best.
NaughtyStep - 11 February 2009
Uh uh uh.....just love the simple things in life. Paris is a great place to visit but living there loses the romance. Never been to Paris, Tennessee. Mona Lisa must be there just to please ya coz in all my memories I ain't never understood the difference between the dream and reality. Nice job my songwriting friend.
crockmister - 11 February 2009
That guitar sounds great and its very well played. Very well delivered vocal as well and the pitching is spot on. Nice melody, nice tempo, nice feel, just a downright nice song. I approve.
Truj - 11 February 2009

DSSMusic - 11 February 2009

Pidgeman - 11 February 2009
First rate lyrics, and a beautiful performance on those acoustics Eric. Powerful stuff, gets right to the heart of the matter, don't it? Enjoyed it, any chance you might work up a version with electrics and drums? Couldn't help but think while listening to this the possibilities there. No disrespect intended for this version, as it's got me pushing everything...
