when i first heard this cd, i thought i was listening to a major label million dollar production like signed artists put out. it was that good. i had to listen to it 5 times in a row, just to believe how good it was. i will come to you is one of the best ballads, if you could call it that i have heard lately,money money reminds me of a little bit of hellhole from spinaltap. to youre so hot which a kick ass tune and the hilarious i'm a moron to done anyway and the rest of the great tracks. i ranked in the top 3 of the music, i recently discovered. i most definately recommend this album for all true music lovers collections

From Northern Express Magazine 11/05 (www.northernexpress.com) Fans of WKLT’s compilation series, “Northern Michigan Rocks Vol. I-V” will recognize Bad Side from their song, “Revenge,” on the latest disc. Vocal firecracker Melissa “Lissa” Krahnke & agile, inventive guitarist Jason Mapes are at the core of the CD which includes an assist from Dan Furmanik, Rich “Richie B!” Blair & Carol Lee Cooper. The result is straight-ahead hard rock with a strut in a mode that carries on with bands such as Velvet Revolver. You have to give Bad Side credit for pursuing an old school direction in the age of hip-hop, alt rock and MCs. On that score Bad Side carries rock’s torch high and proud with a shot of blues and some vocal asides borrowed from KLT. On the down side, however, Krahnke’s talents are wasted at times with material such as “filthy nasty dirty and trashy” and “I’m a Moron.” Krahnke is better served by occupying the power pop territory of Joan Jett or Pat Benatar where the natural husk of her voice moves the music forward. She’s an angel, for instance on the soul-searching “I Will Come to You,” a song that makes the listener strain to hear more. “Revenge” has also proved a hit with KLT listeners. That’s the upside on where Bad Side’s good side gets it on the inside

Lyrically, Bad Side explores introspective themes of love, lust, relationships, peer pressure and the desire to make money, but also delves into such subject matters as the crucifixion of Christ and comical pick-up lines actually used on Krahnke after shows. As a whole, the entire 13 tracks are good enough to get you to actually stop whatever it is you are doing and to listen and embrace the powerful voice of Krahnke. While all of the tracks are good and worth listening to, two particular songs stand out from the rest and are worth mentioning on their own. The first is a piano ballad - I Will Come to You. Written about Krahnke's close relationship with her family and about all the wonderful memories they shared growing up together, this song is a classic power ballad and a very, very good one at that. According to Mapes, of the five songs on this album currently receiving airplay, I Will Come to You is getting the most. The second song worth singling out is called Feel Me. According to Mapes, this tune is the song that has all the different elements of what the band strives to sound like, which includes the Hammond organs and Harmony guitars. Quite simply, this is the kind of song that you have to crank up on your car stereo while cruising down the street with your windows rolled down. With Krahnke singing about a neglected lover who wants to get back to the basics of a relationship, and Mapes' pummeling the listeners' eardrums with his catchy riff-driven guitars, this song sums up what the band is all about - hard rock! If you are a fan of rock music from the 70's and 80's, then this CD is definitely for you.

This album to me sounds as if it's being played live, that raw feel. From start to finish you'll have fun listening to this album it has classic sounds and modern sounds. Melissa's vocals are simply amazing, now I know some people who don't care for Pat Benatar will be quick to dismiss this album but seriously give it a chance. The writing alone makes this album worth taking a listen to.
