They can't all be happy tales...

Another fine release by the remarkable gothic, vaudeville, folk jamboree of polka influenced rock mayhem. This CD follows more of a storyline than the previous yet. The narrative makes the CD more entertaining by establishing a sense of suspense, flow and intriguing characters. The musicianship is uncanny and the list of instruments is expansive. The CD reflects its title: a thoroughly entertaining show that could be performed in some old rundown theater during the Great Depression.

The Bad Things are Badder than before.

On their second release The Bad Things advance farther down the dark road. They've definately been working hard in the Devil's mind. More musically mature and varied in style and influences. Polk-ska, Tangoth, no-love songs, crazed carnies spitting out their pain through broken teeth. It's a hit in hell!
