ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
It was 1958 or 59'when my family moved to Durham, North Carolina from Prosperity, West Virginia. I grew up in Durham listening to eclectic am radio. I was influenced by a wide range of musical artists. You could hear anyone from,Sinatra, to Johnny Cash, Ray Charles to Elvis, all of the sixties girl-groups.Old r&b, teen idols, mo town and the blues. And so many other great artists all on the same radio station. It was the "British Invasion" that really turned my world up side down. Especially the Beatles! I love... John Lennon! I started playing guitar at age nineteen and I wrote my first song at twenty. I moved to Nashville, TN in 1976. For many years I played all the writer's night's I could find and as many gigs as I could muster up. In 2001 I decided to record a cd of my own songs. You may or may not hear some of my influences mentioned earlier on this cd.
I dedicate this cd to my daughter Natalie... I love you! Enjoy!!!! sdb
