The Kora is an instrument designed to express deep levels of emotion. Beauty and spirituality. Its angelic sound transports the listener, of life on a simpler,richer and more instrument of kings, the served for many centuries as official instrument to the enperors of Mali. Balla Tounkara is a griot or djeli from Mali, West Africa. As a menber of this ancient tradition he performs the roles of musician,storyteller,singer and peacemaker ext.!!!!!
