Jesse took his first paying cowboy job for the summer of his 14th year. In his twenties he rodeoed as a saddle bronc rider while running cattle with his father and brother on the land homesteaded by his grandfather in 1909. He has earned his living cowboying for outfits in California, Wyoming, and Montana; where he also served as a Deputy State Brand Inspector.From a young age Jesse had a love for music equal to his love for horses,cowboying, and the west. Over time this passion for music has grown into songwriting that reflects the tradition and values of the contemporary west; as seen through the eyes of a working cowboy. Jesse has shared his perspective of the cowboy life, as a performer, at gatherings and cowboy events in Elko, NV; Alpine,TX; Sante Fe,NM; and The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, OK.
