Bamboojuice was an Alt Rock band formed by Mark Villarosa, singer and songwriter in 2002.

Straddling the divide between acoustic and alternative rock, "Nightsong" serves up a distinct set of catchy hook-laden tunes driven by lyrics loaded with soul and depth. With no shortage of passion or energy, each song is delivered in a compelling way fusing together melodic lines with memorable riffs thatll keep you humming long after the EP stops playing.

The EP can be purchased digitally from many online stores - the most popular being Apple iTunes and CDBaby.

*Bamboojuice's follow-up EP is called "Comin Home"(2007).

Mark Villarosa is an Acoustic Rock artist from London.

Mark Villarosa originally formed a band called "Bamboojuice" in 2002 drafting in friends Salvatore Notaro (drums) and Mario DeBergolis (Bass) to help bring the project to life. Two EPs were recorded by the band during the 5 years of the groups lifetime (Nightsong in 2002 & Comin Home in 2007).

Two songs (Scared of Heights & Liz) from the Comin Home EP also reached the semi-finals of the UK songwriting competition in 2007 against 5,000 nationwide entries.

Bamboojuice played numerous shows around the London gigging circuit and abroad building a solid fanbase (the Rock Garden, the Dome, the Purple Turtle, the Borderline, 100 Club, the Hope & Anchor, Sound, the Half Moon, the Dublin Castle, Monto Water Rats, Le Bar Bat in NYC) and were filmed by an MTV crew in 2008 for a feature called "MTV Live & Unsigned". The band also supported Reef at one of their revival gigs in the same year.

With a new line-up of songs, Mark Villarosa together with Salvatore Notaro (original drummer) drafted in Sanjay Katick (Lead Guitar) and Donal Kelleher (Bass) in 2009 to complete the new supporting cast of Mark V.
