Album Notes

In the winter of 2001, a group of guys came together in search of a new musical experience. They had the same goal in mind, doing something challenging, fresh and unclaimed to the area. The music scene in the surrounding area, seemed to be missing something.

There was no young bluegrass to be seen and that is where Blue Bambooza picked up the slack. Composing original material, arranging pieces from the likes of Tony Rice, Chesapeake, David Grisman and revamping some of the old traditionals, they brought on a new sound virtually unheard from a triad based band.

Completely acoustic, sort of... OK, it's hard to be completely acoustic when you have drums. So let's back up, all acoustic instruments along with the help of state of the art acoustic amplification and lighting/video allow Blue Bambooza to put on a show not soon forgotten.
