Bana Kadori’s brand of music differs in many respects from most of the music that is coming out of Kenya today. Being a guitar band, their style of music making certainly belongs to the older fashion, but is at the same time not in the least old-fashioned. ‘Elaborate’ is the word that comes up first when hearing their songs, elaborate not only in the way the songs are built and the way they sing and play them, but also in their lyrics.
