The Bandit Kings are brand new Boston area Rock/Pop Band featuring Ann Marie on lead vocals, Renee Dupuis on lead vocals and keyboards, and rock all-stars Dennis Monagle (drums), Joe Cardoza (bass) and Dan King (lead guitar). "Jangle Rock" is how they like to describe themselves. The band debuted March 2010, playing Harvard Square clubs and the famous Plough and Stars. "Laredo" is currently being featured on Radio and is their first Music Video.
This EP of originals was recently recorded at Tony Goddess' (Papas Fritas) Bang A Song studio in April 2010. The band recorded live in the studio with minimal overdubs to retain a "fresh" sound. Each song was approached as a Single. A mix of vintage and modern technology was used.

Tight Vocals, Wonderful Sound

As there is a lot of new music being recorded in the Boston mucis scene, it is refreshing to find an independent group who know their craft so well. The first aspect of The Bandit Kings music that you notice is the lead vocals. Ann Marie is a stunner when it comes to that slow drawl or high-end long note. When she does share vocals, the harmony and sound is amazing. Add that to some seasoned musicians who have been honing their craft in Boston's club scene for a while now and you get a recipe for music success. You should check them out on the radio as well!!
