Album Notes

Band of Blue, simply said, is four guys who love to play. The lineup is conventional (drums, bass, guitar, and keys,) but the music is anything but. Elements of blues, jazz, funk, dance, and pop mesh into an experience that is electrifying audiences around the Washington DC-area. The music exhilarates with four-part harmonies, exhilirating soloing, and a rare chemistry among band members that makes for charismatic, sweat-inducing performances.

Exciting original music from 4 funky white boys
author: Henry Chung
A small band with a big sound. You can't top the idea behind the CD - reinvent 70's rock with a 2004 spice of soul and grease. You can't play blues-rock without a little touch of Groove Holmes, T-Bone, and Muddy. These guys got it all. If Duane Allman was still alive, he'd be proud! The first exciting CD in 2004 provided the next Norah Jones album doesn't suck! Recommended with my heart.
