Beautiful, inspirational, uplifting, encouraging, soul soothing, composed & played by people with the spirit of God.  These songs are all about the journey of life - sometimes physical and sometimes not.  
The harmonies, chords, words, tempo, timing and singing all contribute to the end production of each song for a treat to the ears and the mind.  
Many of the songs are about one man's ancestors and about all of our ancestors at the same time.  Good Bye To The Green is one of my favorites.  It tells the stories of so many who fled massive famines from many countries to the unknown of the USA.  The Irish music and singing are exquisite. I laughed and I cried (in a good way).  The line: The famine had taken our island away  says so much in 7 short words.  Some of the songs demonstrate intense longing, earnest perseverance, steadfast patience, more than 1 kind of love, stoicism, Godly resolve of will and the believing action to back it up.  Closing Down The Buggy Whip is about a timeless theme occurring in every generation - more & more as time goes on: Is all this progress always the best thing?  My Heart should be the next great wedding song and will warm your heart (even if it's very cold).  If you've ever wondered "Are we there yet?", Almost There will give you a lot to enjoy and think about -  It's not all about the end of the road, but is also about what you think about, believe and how you live your life on the way  there while you keep the faith and your hope regarding what is to come. Ahh…a peaceful feeling fills you when you sit down in your easy chair and take a break with the Band of Brothers almost there CD.  The music makes me slow down just a bit, to pause, and appreciate the beauty and life around us.  I am reminded of simple pleasures, and I have an urge to hum and sing along.  This is feeling good, feeling thankful, feeling happy music.  Their music is all about family, love, patience, and giving thanks to the Lord…a beautiful, fun, uplifting pleasure.
