Released in May 2000, this is the most noise-oriented Bangsplat album. Almost all tracks are completely computer-generated noise that has been heavily filtered.
They say when the only tool you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. This is what everything sounds like when all you have is a two-track audio editor.
Only "Secret Track" was made with a different tool - Sonic Foundry's ACID Pro. This is Bangsplat's only venture into Techno music. Far more interesting uses of this program are found on "Bangsplat Vs. The Z-Axis Powers".
"Occultation Theory" also includes a shortened version of the noise epic "Sleep! Sleep!" Essentially twenty minutes of static, slowly faded out, the piece is intended as a sleeping aid.
