In 2002 the Plowboys, looking back on a long a successful career in bluegrass music, recognized that some of their best and most popular songs, dating back to their first release in 1974, were still being requested wherever they performed. Selecting a few most-requested numbers from each of their first eight albums, they put together this compilation to satisfy fan demand and celebrate nearly 30 years of music-making. Enclosed with the CD is a booklet full of vintage photos and posters, along with a synopsis of band history. This collection represents some of the best music Banjo Dan and the Mid-nite Plowboys ever produced, and some of the finest bluegrass ever to come of out the New England region.
