Born in 1986, James G was born into a military household near Trenton, New Jersey. As a young child he was moved around to New York, California, and finally Georgia always writing and developing his wordplay as a means to escape the harshness of his peers and being alone in unfamiliar locations.
After graduating in 2004, James G began playing around with home recording and created a few mixtapes that garnished local attention and helped sparked further incentive to continue on musically. He would go on to create the independent group "Bankrupt Records" in 2006 and drop his first home produced group album "Underground Mythology" with his brother JG later that year. This inspired a string of future group releases including "Night Vision", "The League", "Gods and Generals Mixtape", "Double Vision", and "Amnesia".
Each album has polished James G's unique sound and collaborations with artist such as Lil Wyte, Hopsin, Royce da 5'9", Bizzy Bone, and numerous other underground names have shown that he is flexible and able to cover a broad range of topics from street to horror. In February 2013 James G is set to release his first studio album "Monopoly" completely self-funded and independent. He has described it as "real art in a world of commercialized madness" set to deliver hard truths with explosive wordplay. With a growing and loyal underground fan base, tune in to see what James G has in store for the world of rap music.
