Album Notes

“Something Real” is the collaborative work of Dan Banks and Matt Baxley, aka. MooT BooXLe. Featuring songs co-written with Mike Blasucci and Tim Joza. The making of this CD has been a labor of love, and a process in and of itself.

The album is fourteen tracks, and each song stands on its own. Yet as a whole, it truely becomes “Something Real”. It’s the kind of album that invites you to play over and over again. There is variety in the music itself, and genres it encapsulates—yet there is a simple message that rings true throughout. The songs are simple, yet powerful; speaking of the fundamental concepts of life, and how we deal with them. Issues like love/hate, life/death, marriage/divorce, joy/sorrow are all addressed in this CD.

Banks/Baxley have done their best to give you something that will enrich your life, with the music they’ve made. Buy this CD, and you won’t be disappointed.
