FINE

On my taste,Michael's voice is not very powerful,(except in "Bist du bei mir"),and there is,SOMETIMES,too much air in his voice. But his work with the words is good and he speaks 5 different langages on this recording!!His approach is sensitive. The whole result is not perfect but good.Michael was right to do this record which is a beautiful "souvenir"of his 12 years old voice. The accompanying on the piano is excellent.

A very talented singer. highly recomended disc.
author: Allan
The interesting collection of music chosen for this disc showes off the outstanding voice of Michael Bannett. The problem with many discs issued by young trebles is that they tend to have the same songs and therefore you end up with a limited collection of songs performed by many singers. This is not the case with Beautiful Soup, there is a good selection of material which shows Michael's artisitic ability to the full. His presentation is outstanding for such a young singer. I full recomend this disc, and suggest that you also consider, Jounney Through THe British Isles. This is also an outstanding disc.

A fine controlled treble singer with huge potential
author: Robert
A first class selection of music and the treble standards are sung with excellent pitch and diction - Michael gives a very professional performance and these songs show his voice range well.
