ABOUT MICHAEL BANNETT
Michael is an experienced recording artist as well as child actor in musical theater and opera. He has performed in ten San Francisco Opera productions, most notably as the Shepherd Boy in Tosca, the First Spirit in The Magic Flute, the Apprentice in Peter Grimes, and Harry in Albert Herring. He sang a duet with Charlotte Church on A&E, and has sung solo in recital with famed tenor Salvatore Licitra. He been a soloist for the San Francisco Ballet, the Berkeley Symphony Orchestra and the Other Minds festival. With the Alameda Civic Light Opera he has performed as Oliver in Oliver, as Colin in The Secret Garden,and as Anna's son Louis in The King and I.
