As good as it gets!
author: John WhiteleyAS an avid collector of Boy choir/Boy soloist music Journey through the British isles is one of my best! It's as good as it gets! Michael is a brilliant boy singer who really knows how to get the best out of a song! I enjoyed it so much I've just ordered Beautiful Soup!
SUPERB
author: Christophe HENRY (FRANCE)The album called "beautiful soup" sung by Michael Bannett was good but this one is excellent. He put a lot of energy in it and the work with the words is accurate. In "beautiful soup" Michael spoke several langages: here he uses several voices (treble, alto,ténor?)!!!The instrumental accompanying is magnificient.
A superb collection
author: John Malcolm BurnsA superb collection of songs from a very talented young singer. The ephemeral nature of the treble voice makes us more than grateful that it has been captured so well.
another award winning performance
author: Joseph CowdenMichael wins his second Trebby Award with this outstanding recording - highly recommended!
Thanks for the memory!
author: Peter BellamyThe 18 songs blend nicely together to evoke a picture of gentle countryside and contented folk of an earlier age. The listener feels the richer for the experience and the memory of Michaels crystal clear voice is assured.
Pure Listening Pleasure.
author: GlenStobbsThis latest CD by Michael is one that I would recommend to anyone looking for unusual and relaxing music. Many of the songs are new to me, and are a delight to listen to. Step back in time and enjoy!
Songs for the Armchair Traveller
author: Ian ChorleyThis is a great CD, by a really talented young singer, to relax to,preferably sitting in the garden on a warm summers evening with a glass of white wine, listening to those charming evocations of journeying through the British Isles in times long gone...
