My challenge of speaking my T.R.U.T.H. in all my R.E.L.A.T.I.O.N.S.H.I.P.s caused me to L.I.E. to myself for F.E.A.R. of what others might think of me. I C.A.N.’T. be the B.A.D. person and hurt people. I would rather just pretend to be happy and agreeable.

J.U.D.G.E.M.E.N.T. kept me prisoner, my E.G.O. was S.C.A.R.E.D. to T.R.Y. something new or think differently that what was considered N.O.R.M.A.L.

There were many excuses that I would T.R.Y. to O.W.N. and I often B.L.A.M.E. others, my past, my family. Around Married people I felt S.T.U.P.I.D. for not having L.O.V.E. in my L.I.F.E. I wanted M.A.R.R.I.A.G.E. I wanted to understand what it is to be a M.A.N. and be blessed with the companionship of a W.O.M.A.N.

I would feel G.U.I.L.T. and I was J.E.A.L.O.U.S. and I would C.O.M.P.L.A.I.N. to my friends about my lack of R.E.S.P.O.N.S.I.B.I.L.I.T.Y. in my L.I.F.E. I would say I was a V.I.C.T.I.M. of circumstance.

I wanted to be a G.O.O.D. person, but it was D.I.F.F.I.C.U.L.T. People would tell me I was living in D.E.N.I.A.L. I was T.R.Y.ing to be N.O.R.M.A.L. but that wasn’t my N.A.T.U.R.E.

I felt like I C.A.N.T. change my L.I.F.E. it is what it is. I have tried to C.O.N.T.R.O.L. over my A.D.D.I.C.T.I.O.N.S. I felt like I had no P.O.W.E.R. I was filled with R.E.G.R.E.T. of my past mistakes and yet I would H.O.P.E. somehow I would find my S.A.L.V.A.T.I.O.N. but it N.E.V.E.R. came.

I realized I had no S.T.R.E.N.G.T.H., W.O.R.R.Y. consumed my L.I.F.E. Some of my friends were like P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E.S. always taking from me with no R.E.G.A.R.D. they felt more like S.T.R.A.N.G.E.R.s or an E.N.E.M.Y.

I realized there were so many words I would use day to day that invited these challenges over and over again. I wanted to change my life and I was given the idea to create A.C.R.O.N.Y.M.S. to Inspire, Enhance and Heal my life. In 2003 I created over 250 A.C.R.O.N.Y.M.S., I started to introduce them to friends and family, encouraging them to create their own. I was amazed to see people shift words that challenged them from this simple practice. Out of all the self development tools I used, A.C.R.O.N.Y.M.S. were most effective because I would use these self defeating words everyday and I would catch myself projecting the same energy. When I spoke I would be reminded of my new definition. A.C.R.O.N.Y.M.S. inspired me to change my life and shift my viewpoints into a new way of understanding my reality.

I do not impose them as the only definition. My intention is to Inspire, Enhance and Heal by showing you to create your own acronyms to words that challenge you.
