The Bar & Grill Singers, all of whom are practicing attorneys in Austin, Texas, have entertained lawyers and non-lawyers since their 1991 debut. Now appearing year-round across the nation, the Singers spoof themselves and their profession with clever lyrics set to a variety of musical styles. They needle everything and everyone around the law, including clients, billing practices, legal ethics, bored jurors, and yes...federal judges.
The Singers' musical-legal-comedy has been cited in a New York Times Bestseller ("Every Breath You Take," by Ann Rule), the Wall Street Journal (article by columnist David Broder, April 16, 2003), and a published federal opinion, Suboh v. Borgioli, 298 F. Supp. 2d 192 (D. Mass. 2004).
Over the past 14 years, the Singers have benefitted volunteer legal services for the indigent, and have raised over $300,000 from their performances and CD sales. The Singers have released three CDs, "Grilling Me Softly," "Licensed to Grill" and "A Time to Grill," which are available for purchase at their performances or at www.barandgrillsingers.com.

A brilliant set of parodies for the legal mind
author: Jay Borky
If you want a good laugh (or maybe cheaper rates in the office) then show your attorney this one. The writing is impecable and the a capella stle just adds to the brilliant touch. All in all, it's one worth keeping.
