Album Notes

From the co-creator of 'Judging Amy' and the creator of 'Joan of Arcadia', and the former lead singer of The Enablers:

"Hello and welcome to 'Handsome.' My first official solo record. That means I wrote all the songs by myself. Except one.

It all started when I met this guy on an airplane. Two years later, I had all these songs. More than half are about him. One of them is happy! There's also an outlaw song and one about New Orleans. And one about moral relativism. I mean, why not?

The boys who play on the record were also in my former band, The Enablers. They are all handsome. They play like crazy and for the fun of it. Which is why I do it. The girls who sing with me are hot. At least two of the members of the band are a couple. You have to figure it out.

Jonathan Grossman produced this venture from the first conversations to the final mix. I only cried twice. He's a genius. I'm not mad at the guy on the airplane. I'm grateful to him. Tim Burlingame, who plays guitar, designed the cover. My dad took the pictures. That's my mom on the front and my brother on the back. This is a labor of all kinds of love. Enjoy."

You can pitch and purge and keep it movin on. HANDSOME shows the multi-fleshed artistry in a contemporary ever changing TALENT. I want to know which song though is about "Moral Relativism?" What in the heck is MR anyway?...Irregardless The CD shows up and entertains....it shakes more than the chick bee-hind!!!!!

New Orleans song is in poor taste
author: Keith
I love Barbara Hall for 'Joan of Arcadia' but the song about New Orleans is particularly mean-spirited in light of Hurricane Katrina. Don't kick the poor city when it's down like that. New Orleans is down on its knees right now.
