This album is full of beautiful songs that stir many deep emotions. The meaningful lyrics combined with strong, skillful musicians and singers make a great listening experience. The depth of Barbara's lyrical insights only makes listening to the music more pleasurable. The songs put me in a thoughtful relaxed mood where looking at life situation's becomes a "walk in the park". The music invokes many fond memories of the great beauty of our shared culture. This music will get you loving being alive.

I enjoyed this album so much that I purchased a second copy for a friend. Barbara George's singing is beautiful, and it is obvious that the musicians who play on this album are experts in their field. I also really enjoy the range of musical style in "Protected by Love". The songs range from soft and melodic, to up beat and energetic. I am hard pressed to pick a favorite song, but I think I like "The Truth Behind His Eyes" and "Unexpected Clarity" the best. This is truly a five star recording.

If you haven't heard of Barbara Lee George, and her aptly named, "Protected By Love" CD yet - do yourself a favor - and take a listen! Her voice and songs (all ten tracks) ROCK!!! It is such a rarity to find a CD that offers so much good music, variety of styles and phenomenal musicianship! I like all the whole CD but my "turn-up-the-volume-favorites" are; "Live & Learn", "Straight From The Heart", "Beyond Still Waters" and "Call Me"...AMAZING!!!
