At last here is Barbara Lusch’s much-anticipated new CD, “Surprisingly Good For You”. What a treasure trove of delights! Here are jewels from the American Song Book (“Stardust”, “Sentimental Journey”), country classics (“Crazy”), Broadway tunes (“I’d Be Surprisingly Good For You”, “I Won’t Dance”), bluesy torch numbers (“Why Don’t You Do Right”), all interpreted anew by Barbara and her swinging jazz backup group.
