Barbara Sheree has been singing and writing for the past 15 years. As a young child of 8 she first began singing in her choir in school. By the time she was 13, she was singing on several school and local community choirs as a soloist.

At the age of 13, she also embarked on her first writing challenges and began to write poetry. She began writing with established writers such as Donald Robinson and Damon Bennett. Her music is distributed by CD Baby and can also be found on over 60 of the most popular digital download sites including Apple ITunes. She has either opened for or performed on the same stage as Patti, Labelle, Keith Sweat, Yolanda Adams, Lisa Lisa, Doug E. Fresh, Musiq, Kem and others. She participated in both the Pantene Total You Tour and the Ebony Black Family Reunion Tour.

Barbara became a member of the group "Change". Luther Vandross was a former lead singer for the group. They are preparing to do an Old School nation wide tour.
